Global EMC designs and delivers two distinct military EMC test chambers, one engineered specifically for the UK Defence Standardisation DEF STAN 59-411 standard and the other for the US Military Standard MIL-STD-461 requirements. Both are designed and manufactured in Great Britain, configured around the equipment to be tested, and can additionally be specified for RTCA DO-160 (avionics) testing. Standard and Extended Performance shielding levels are available.

The facility supports conducted and radiated emissions and susceptibility measurements, across equipment ranging from small electronic modules to fully assembled military vehicles, and can also be configured for compliant testing to MIL-STD-461 and RTCA DO-160.

Global EMC’s MIL-STD-461 military EMC test chamber is designed for the heavy-duty EMC testing required by US and allied military qualification programmes. The facility supports conducted and radiated emissions and susceptibility testing of military equipment. Using compact pyramidal absorber specified to this standard’s requirements, increasing usable internal space and reducing the overall cost of the facility. The chamber can also be configured for RTCA DO-160 testing and adapted to meet DEF STAN 59-411 on request.
