The pre-compliant EMC test chamber is our compact, space-saving test chamber, engineered to deliver dependable and repeatable EMC measurements. A cost-effective solution, it gives you an on-site facility for research and development, allowing you to identify and resolve potential issues early and prepare your products for final compliance testing with confidence.

Despite its reduced footprint, the chamber retains the 3-metre measurement distance required between the antenna and the equipment under test (EUT), maximising the available space to provide pre-compliant emissions testing and compliant immunity testing.

Available in semi-anechoic and fully anechoic absorber configurations.

Supports up to a 3m measurement distance between the antenna and equipment under test (EUT).

Radiated immunity

Compliant for the test site requirements of IEC/EN 61000-4-3 across a frequency range of 80 MHz to 6 GHz, with optional testing up to 18 GHz.

Radiated emissions

Pre-compliant for test site requirements according to CISPR 16-1-4.

Anechoic configuration

Available in two configurations – fully anechoic rooms (FAR), with absorbers on all surfaces, and semi-anechoic chambers (SAC), which include a reflecting ground plane on the floor and absorbers on the walls and ceiling.

What is pre-compliance testing?

Pre-compliance testing is designed to replicate the conditions of a fully accredited, compliant test laboratory as closely as possible. Global, European and national standards define the required tests and performance criteria for each electrical or electronic product. Carried out throughout product development, ongoing pre-compliance testing helps identify potential issues that could prevent a new product from meeting the relevant standards during final compliance testing.
